OUR MISSION:
Journey-Kidz exists to give families the BEST opportunity to become followers of Jesus.
When Jesus was on earth, he invited and challenged people whom he met to come and follow him. Journey-Kidz is honored to partner with parents to accept this invitation and challenge from Jesus.
OUR VISION:
Our goal is to make Journey-Kidz the BEST hour of each kid’s week!
We want to create a fun, exciting, caring and safe environment where children can learn who Jesus is and what He has done for us. We want our kids to grow loving Jesus, their church and their community.
We also want to give their parents and other attenders the opportunity to worship without distraction. Some of them make life changing decisions to follow Jesus in that undistracted hour that they have.

We have 2 age-appropriate groups for children:
BLUE STARS: birth – 4 years old
ORANGE STARS: Kindergarten – 5th grade
JOURNEY KIDZ EXPERIENCE:
In Journey Kidz, your child will get to hang out with other kids, experience fun and heartfelt worship, play exciting games, watch great Bible stories from a big screen, do arts and crafts and take home a “You Got This!” challenge related to the Bible lesson. All these activities make their journey in following Jesus fun, interactive… and most important, life changing.
TEAM MEMBERS AND SECURITY:
At The Journey we are passionate about the ministry to our kids and take this responsibility seriously. Our team consists of members in good standing at The Journey and have gone through a thorough background check and receive ongoing training to make your children’s church experience very safe and secure.
REGISTRATION & CHECK-IN:
Our volunteers and staff are trained to make sure your child is safe, and that no unauthorized person enters the Journey-Kidz area.
During your first check-in, you will be asked to fill out a simple registration form. Then every time after, your child will zip through the check-in process by logging in to one of our computers at the check-in area which takes less than a minute.
COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS:
Since our church meets at the UA Midway Theater in Forest Hills, New York, we follow the guidelines of CDC and Regal Cinemas for New York City. Wearing mask indoors is optionaL. All spaces and surfaces are cleaned and sanitized. Hand sanitizers and extra masks are available.
